Ryan Gosling gearing up to star in Logan's Run

Science fiction fans everywhere should be rejoicing as one of Hollywood’s best young actors, Ryan Gosling, is finalizing a deal to board the remake of LOGAN’S RUN.Gosling will be re-teaming with his DRIVE director Nicolas Winding Refn for the film that is described as a “futuristic drama about a man who tries to outrun a mandatory death sentence that awaits all 30-year old’s.” I’m not familiar with the books but I do know that it’s a fan favorite and many people did not enjoy the 1976 film that was based on the novels by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson. Production is set to begin sometime this coming fall.
You all know how I love a good sci-fi film so I’m excited to see who else the studio will get to star in this. Ryan Gosling does well in whatever he does and it’s nice to see him start to take some bigger budget films.
