Sacha Baron Cohen will join Leonardo DiCaprio in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained

It appears that Quentin Tarantino is still gathering talent for his upcoming Western DJANGO UNCHAINED as we are learning that Sacha Baron Cohen (BORAT and THE DICTATOR) is in final negotiations to sign on. Baron Cohen will play a character named Scotty, a gambler who buys Django’s (Jamie Foxx) wife as a companion. It’s a small role, but apparently Tarantino was dead set on having Baron Cohen on board. The actor will join a star-studded cast that includes: Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kurt Russell, RZA, Anthony LaPaglia and Kerry Washington. DJANGO UNCHAINED is set to hit theaters on December 25, 2012.
Any film from Quentin Tarantino is bound to be full of happiness and violence, so of course I’m excited. I’m not the biggest fan of Sacha Baron Cohen, however, if he’s in a small role and his character will meet his demise then I’m perfectly fine seeing him on the big screen.
