Sandra Bullock looks scared in a new image from Gravity
Set entirely in space and featuring only two A-list stars, one of which is only in half the film, I don’t envy the marketing team behind Alfonso Cuaron’s GRAVITY. The trailers look fantastic and all of the images look beautiful, but movie going audiences sometimes have short attention spans, so I’m nervous for this at the box office. Hopefully, it will be so great that word of mouth will sell the film, but you never know. Today we get another new look at leading lady Sandra Bullock in the film, this time looking a little scared and presumably getting ready for something big. GRAVITY stars George Clooney and Sandra Bullock and hits theaters on October 4th.
GRAVITY official synopsis: Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
