Sandra Bullock to join Clint Eastwood in Trouble with the Curve

I feel like there was a time when we saw a ton of Sandra Bullock. Then she took a break after her public divorce from Jesse James. The good thing is it seemed to make her stronger and put her in a different place as far as her career was concerned. Now she’s focused on taking more serious roles.
After EXTREMELY LOUD AND INCREDIBLY CLOSE, Bullock could star opposite Clint Eastwood in TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE. Bullock is in negotiations after being approached for the role of the Daughter in the story by Eastwood and his producing partner, Robert Lorenz. Lorenz is also the director on this. He’s done assistant directing work but this will be his debut feature.
In the film, Eastwood takes on the role of an aging baseball scout with failing eyesight who travels to Atlanta with his daughter to scout a young prospect. This would be another serious role that Bullock could do well in. There were no other details offered.
