Saoirse Ronan still not confirmed for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit

I’m guessing since Peter Jackson had that hiccup with his stomach, maybe things aren’t moving along as smooth as he’d like which is why Saoirse Ronan is not completely signed on for THE HOBBIT. Or maybe all this talk from the casting director Ros Hubbard was just wrong. Either way, she’s not quite in and here’s the statement she made on the red carpet:
No, nothing has actually been confirmed yet. I’d love to get a role in THE HOBBIT. I think everybody in the world would like a role in THE HOBBIT.
She’s not wrong, there probably are a ton of Tolkien fans out there who would give their left arm to be dwarf or elf. But we don’t care about them, we care about Ronan, so get it together people. Shooting starts around the end of March and adding Ronan to your cast would be awesome.
