Saw VI Can't Cut Through Paranormal Activity

Posted by: Sturdy

Is there any chance that the Saw franchise will die?  Seriously, aren’t the games getting old?  Don’t people want something more from their horror movies?  Apparently, they do because PARANORMAL ACTIVITY (Read our PARANORMAL ACTIVITY review) managed to beat the latest SAW offering at the box office this weekend in rather convincing fashion.  Newcomer AMELIA didn’t crack the top ten, but it only played on less than 900 screens.  With no competition next week and all of the new movies this week flopping, Paranormal has a chance to make it two in a row at #1.
