Scarlett Johansson and Chris Pratt join Joaquin Phoenix in Spike Jonze's Her

Spike Jonze is definitely one of the most original and peculiar filmmakers to work in Hollywood. That seems like a big statement but when you consider his wonderfully array of films: BEING JOHN MALKOVICH, ADAPTATION and most recently 2009’s WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, it makes more sense. He also directed perhaps my favorite music video of all time being Bestie Boys: Sabotoage. Hot off the news that he finally set a release date for his next film HER to come out later this year, we get news through twitter of a couple more stars in the cast, Scarlett Johannson and Chris Pratt. Johannson is clearly becoming one of the most widely known actresses with her role in the Marvel world as one of the THE AVENGERS Black Widow. Chris Pratt is quickly becoming the hilarious scene-stealer in just about ever role he takes including TV’s Parks and Rec, MONEYBALL, THE FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT, ZERO DARK THIRTY, and the upcoming DELIVERY MAN (click the link to watch the trailer)
Directed by Spike Jonze, HER will star Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Pratt, Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde, and Samantha Morton. The strange science-fiction romance will hit theaters November 20, 2013.
