Sean Bean joins Lily Collins and Armie Hammer in Tarsem Singh's Snow White

I’m not sure what happened, but I feel like I woke up one day and Sean Bean was cool. Maybe it’s his starring role in HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ or his extracurricular bar fights, but Sean Bean has instantly become a hot commodity in Hollywood. Boromir himself is cashing in on the fame and has just signed on to play Snow White’s father in the now untitled, but formerly titled THE BROTHER’S GRIMM: SNOW WHITE. In this version, Julia Roberts plays the evil queen (fitting) and Lily Collins plays the titular Snow White, while Armie Hammer plays the dashing Prince Alcott.
Of course, don’t get this confused with the competing Snow White project titled SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN, which has Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Ian McShane and Charlize Theron attached to star. It has been fun to see these two projects compete with each other for cast members, but director Tarsem Singh might have pushed his version to the top with Sean Bean.
