Seth Rogen, James Franco and Jonah Hill deal with the apocalypse in a clip from This Is The End
If there’s one negative to Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s THIS IS THE END, it’s that it won’t hit theaters until next summer as opposed to tomorrow, which is when the supposed end of the world is actually supposed to happen. Since most people with an education above a kindergarten level know that the world won’t end tomorrow, it would have been a nice marketing tie-in for their new film. Alas, not everything works out like that in Hollywood, so they’ve done the next best thing, which is release a new red band clip showing a scene from the movie and a brief trailer-like montage at the end.
The clip features Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel and Craig Robinson trying to explain what happened to Danny McBride. To be honest, this is the funniest I’ve seen any of these actors in a while. I was afraid that this film would be just an excuse for them to get their friends together and get paid, but it looks like it could be pretty funny. Along with the above six, the film also features cameos from Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, Michael Cera, Aziz Ansari, Kevin Hart, Emma Watson and Rihanna. If you’re old enough, check out the red band clip below.
