Shailene Woodley struts as Mary Jane Watson in new set photo from The Amazing Spider-Man 2

It’s only February 2013 and we’re already starting to get set photos and promotional images from THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 which doesn’t hit theaters until next May, it’s going to be a long year and a half guys. However, if you are one of the many anticipating this sequel, then you will probably be happy to see this first look at Shailene Woodley who will be portraying Mary Jane Watson. For those comic fans (or anyone who saw the first SPIDER-MAN trilogy) Mary Jane Watson was one of the love interests of Peter Parker (played by Andrew Garfield). Whether or not you are looking forward to this second installment in the franchise, it will at least be fun to compare Shailene Woodley’s Mary Jane to Kirsten Dunst’s Mary Jane that took place over a decade ago.
Directed by Marc Webb, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 will star Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson and Felicity Jones. The sequel will be swinging into theaters on May 2, 2014. (Latino Review)
