Shia LaBeouf not interested in 4th and 5th Transformers, eyes A Giant

All the news yesterday seemed to center on the fact that Hasbro is in active talks with Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg about doing two more Transformers films and filming them back to back. But the question remains who will star in the films as the star of the previous three films, Shia LaBeouf, is said to be unlikely to return. It seems Shia wants to shed the Transformers franchise and move on to bigger and maybe better things. The actor is currently looking at the film A GIANT. Officially, the film is described as “A modern day adult dramatic fairy tale. A story of love and friendship between a rebellious young woman and the mysterious young man who lives in the shadows next door.”
The title is likely to be changed and the script was written by Gil Kenan, who actually directed MONSTER HOUSE and CITY OF EMBER. No start date has been announced.
