Shia LaBeouf strikes a somber pose in the new Lawless poster
The much anticipated John Hillcoat film LAWLESS opens up in theaters next month and we’re finally getting a poster for the film. On the crimson tinted poster we have one of the stars, Shia LaBeouf, looking down forlornly while holding a shotgun. It almost looks like he’s ready to battle it out to the death, huh? Too bad we’re not getting a look at his older, hunky brother Tom Hardy, but I’m glad Shia LaBeouf is taking front center. And how about that tagline, “When the law was corrupt, outlaws became heroes, ” cheesy but an exciting prospect nonetheless.
Directed by John Hillcoat, LAWLESS follows three brothers during the days of prohibition (played by Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy and Jason Clarke) and how they tried to avoid the law during their illegal activities. LAWLESS also stars: Jessica Chastain, Guy Pearce, Gary Oldman, Mia Wasikowska, Dane DeHaan and Noah Taylor. It opens in theaters on August 29th, 2012. (ONTD)
UPDATE: Apparently this poster is not an original and has not been approved by the studio and we have been asked to take it down. An updated poster should be released soon.
