Stanley Tucci joins Mark Wahlberg in Transformers 4

Director Michael Bay announced at CinemaCon that Stanley Tucci (THE HUNGER GAMES) will join the cast of TRANSFORMERS 4. Clearly this film is being made strictly for money. It blows my mind that stars like Stanley Tucci and Mark Wahlberg would join a franchise that is in a hard nose dive. But I guess if the public keeps dishing out the money, I can’t blame Tucci and Wahlberg for wanting in on the action. TRANSFORMERS was fantastic. The sequel was a headache-inducing mess. I didn’t even see the third installment, but I was told from everyone (I’m not exaggerating) that I wasn’t missing anything. I can tell you that I have no desire to see a fourth.
Currently the plot has yet to be revealed, but the untitled fourth Transformers movie will be direct once again by Michael Bay. TRANSFORMERS 4 will star Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor with a release date of June 27, 2014.
