This morning we gave you some new photos from TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON and now we have some casting news. Trekkies everywhere rejoice as Leonard Nimoy (Spock) will be voicing the main baddie in the third film in the TRANSFORMERS franchise, also known as Sentinel Prime (who is the baddie robot in the teaser trailer). I think that’s a great bit of casting and can’t wait to hear Robot Nimoy. Oh and below we also have another new photo, this time of Shia LaBeouf and his new female lead Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, I can’t wait to see how fanboys compare her to the previous lead Megan Fox.

TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON is directed by Michael Bay and opens in 2D, 3D and IMAX on July 1, 2011. The cast includes: Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Bumblebee, Tyrese Gibson, Hugo Weaving, Optimus Prime and Leonard Nimoy.
