The Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens trailer is as glorious as you hoped

No company on earth does marketing like Disney. And when you combine the marketing genius of Disney with the craze of Star Wars, you get a brief trailer on Black Friday for a film that’s still over a year away. And although it isn’t much, it’s enough to get fanboys across the galaxy in a tizzy, this one included. We still don’t know what to expect from J.J. Abrams and company and all we really have is a plethora of rumors and gossip, but with this first trailer, I think Abrams has at least quelled some of our concerns. I like the style and I like the homage to the original trilogy (although it would have been great to see a familiar face) and no matter what I get for Christmas, it’s just not going to be good enough because all I really want is to see STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS. Well, that and a new electric razor.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, who join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Warwick Davis and Kenny Baker. The J.J. Abrams directed film hits theaters on December 18th, 2015.
