I have to admit that when I saw the first film DIARY OF A WIMPY KID I was not as disappointed as I thought I’d be, in some ways it was really cute. By far and away the best part of that film was the kid Rowley, played by Robert Capron, so I was a little surprised that they would base this next film on Rodrick which is Greg’s brother instead of his cute little friend but I guess that’s the way the book falls. However, all the same players will be back in DIARY OF A WIMPY KID 2: RODRICK RULES which will star Steve Zahn, Zachary Gordon, Robert Capron, Rachael Harris and Devon Bostick. We will again follow the young Greg as he tries to maneuver his way through school and home life, but this time taking into account all his older brothers “rules of life”.
