Steve Zahn, Summer Glau and Ryan Kwanten get geeky in the first look at The Knights of Badassdom

I’ve been hearing the words “THE KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM” for awhile now. Yet I had no clue who was in it or what it was really about. Finally with a first look from that upcoming spectacular issue of Entertainment Weekly, I now know what the film is.
The photos show Summer Glau, Ryan Kwanten, Steve Zahn and Peter Dinklage dressed for some live-action role playing.
In a geek overload, the story goes like this, “Zahn and Dinklage play Eric and Hung, two friends obsessed with Live-Action Role Play (a.k.a. LARPing) who decide their depressed roommate, Joe (Kwanten) needs to join in their fake-armor and foam-sword reindeer games. Director Joe Lynch talks more about Kwanten’s character, “Joe is a wannabe rockstar whose girlfriend (Margarita Levieva) broke up with him, his band is kaput, he lost his job, and his buddies are like, ‘Look you had a bad day, but instead of going to a bar, come with us and go LARPing and escape. Live outside your box a little.'”
The film will debut for the first time in Hall H this weekend during Comic Con.
