Super 8 Super Bowl trailer from Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams

Even though I enjoy football and the Super Bowl, I’m one of those people that enjoy the commercials a little bit more than the game. Especially when I find out that much anticipated trailers will be revealed. Needless to say, last night’s ads did not disappoint. We got to see a new spot for TRANSFORMERS:DARK OF THE MOON, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER and a film that has been kept tightly under wraps SUPER 8. Within the first seconds we see the Steven Spielberg will be producing and J.J. Abrams will be directing so we know it’s going to be good. Then we see a lot of cutting and things crashing, and I’m not going to lie- I was a little confused and I’m still not completely sure exactly what this film will be about. I’m thinking aliens or something else extra-terrestrial, but I don’t know. What I do know is that it will star Elle Fanning and Kyle Chandler which are the only two names I recognize upon first glance.
Either way, this film is sure to be awesome because Steven Spielberg can do no wrong (except for that last Indiana Jones movie but I blame that on George Lucas). Watch the trailer below.
