Before anyone starts trashing Michael Bay for once again casting a supermodel to take the lead in one of his movies, let me point out that Israeli model Bar Paly is not just a stunningly beautiful woman, but she also has acting experience, starring in the Israeli soap opera ‘Love Around the Corner’, as well as tiny parts in American shows like ‘CSI: NY’ and ‘How I Met Your Mother’. So give the woman some credit and hopefully she won’t embarrass herself and Michael Bay like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley did in Transformers 3.
I found the above picture on her Facebook page and even though I’m sure she has all the traits that most supermodels do, she at least seems cool by her FB page. I found her page to be less self-promotional than the pages of most of the girls I went to high school with. PAIN AND GAIN is set to star Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson as bodybuilders on the run after a heist goes wrong. Bar Paly is set to play a former beauty queen living in the US illegally, who is promised big things by Wahlberg’s character. Tony Shalhoub was also recently cast as the victim of their heist.
