Chris Evans apparently found time to get past the constant Captain America casting rumors to pick another project. Evans will be headlining the drama PUNCTURE as a young attorney that takes on a healthcare giant. The cast includes Vinessa Shaw, Mark Kassen, Brett Cullen, Michael Biehn, Jess L. Martin and Kate Burton. Adam and Mark Kassen are directing the film.
I thought Chris Evans did a great job in LONDON, so a drama of this magnitude shouldn’t be a problem for him. However, the story sounds a little similar to THE RAINMAKER, which involved a young lawyer taking on a giant health care company. I’m assuming this one will focus more on the inner struggles of Evans’ character, which could be a good opportunity for him.
