Daniel Radcliffe has signed on to join the indie comedy THE AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER, which will be directed by Christopher Monger. The story follows a young man who goes around photographing the private lives of citizens in a small New England town around the 1970’s. No word on when production or shooting will begin. You can of course see Daniel Radcliffe in the final installment in the HP franchise entitled HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 2 which opens in theaters on July 15, 2011. And then that chapter in his life will be done and the next film we’ll see him in will be the horror film THE WOMAN IN BLACK which will open in theaters in the U.K. on October 28, 2011.
Whenever I report that one of the three main HP alum (the last was Emma Watson) sign onto a film a little part of me dies inside. Of course I’m happy for them as I’m sure working on any project for over a decade can get old, but for the rest of us it means that we have to go back to our normal lives. Sigh.
