In the vein of ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS, James Marsden and Russell Brand will be starring in a film called I HOP. In it, Marsden will play a man that injures the Easter Bunny (Russell Brand) and is stuck caring for him until he’s better. The bunny will be voiced by Russell Brand and will presumably be CGI while Marsden will presumably be live-action. Tim Hill, who also directed Chipmunks, will direct.
Wasn’t that kind of the basic premise of ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS? Basically, the plot of this movie is that a straight-laced guy has a furry, talking, animated creature living in his house and then each of them have to teach the other something about life. That’s almost point for point what Chipmunks was about. Does this frustrate anyone else? Uggghhh.
