Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Kevin Messick and Jessica Elbaum, via Gary Sanchez Productions, will be producing the film HOUSE OF MY FATHER or CASA DI MI PADRE in Spanish along with NALA films. It’s tough to understand what’s really going on here, but of course they had to announce it in as funny of a way as they could. In the statement, they indicate that Ferrell’s involvement is because of a “closed-door settlement” of a lawsuit with Sanchez (there is no Sanchez). NALA said “NALA can’t comment regarding the circumstances surrounding why Will is attached to the project, we are just thrilled he is on board and are moving full steam ahead since we have one month to teach him Spanish.”
Then “Sanchez” said “what comes around, goes around, Will Ferrell.”. So with all of that said, we still don’t really know what the film is about or even if there really is a film. Something tells me this is a joke on the gullible media outlets that will no doubt report this as fact. Truth be told, I don’t think we know really what’s true and what’s not.
