Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill), Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), Abigail Spencer and Emily Alyn Lind are set to star in the horror film THE HAUNTING IN GEORGIA. This film will be the second in the HAUNTING series from Gold Circle Films, the first being the 2009 film THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT that starred Virginia Madsen. THE HAUNTING IN GEORGIA will follow the real-life Wayrick family that are “beleaguered by ghosts and a terrifying mystery that haunts their new home.” Murray will portray the husband to wife played by Spencer. Sackhoff will play Spencer’s sister both of whom are cursed with mysterious visions. The movie will be directed by Tom Elkins and will start shooting later this month in Baton Rouge.
Although I’ll never see this film because I won’t be able to sleep for a month afterward, I’m very happy to see Katee Sackhoff in another big role. Her turn as Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica was what made the show.
