There have been rumors that THE FAST AND FURIOUS six and seven would be filmed back to back. Now we finally get a confirmation from one of the stars of the franchise that this is being planned.
Vin Diesel leaked the news, “With the success of this last one, and the inclusion of so many characters, and the broadening of scope, when we were sitting down to figure out what would fit into the real estate of number six, we didn’t have enough space.” He goes on to say that there were over 110 pages to the script that it was more than necessary to cut that into two separate films.
What will be in the next two installments of the film? Diesel did not say. However, if you did catch FAST FIVE there was a hint that Eva Mendes and Michelle Rodriguez would return. I was pretty impressed with the last film so I’m open to seeing two more as long as they have they same kind of feel.
