Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde are going to be busy the entire month of March as they support the Kansas Jayhawks in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, but after that, they’re going to team up and actually do a movie together. Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde have been a couple for a while and they’re going to put their relationship to the test by working together in the film RELANXIOUS. Yeah, I can’t imagine working with my spouse either, but hopefully they know what they’re doing. Nothing against Jason Sudeikis, but who knows when he’ll be able to get a girl like Olivia Wilde again?
RELANXIOUS is a comedy about a woman that suffers from crippling anxiety and an agoraphobic man (Jason Sudeikis) that share conversations about the type of person they would date, if only they could find the strength to leave the house. Given it’s billed as a romantic comedy, one can only assume that the two realize their love for each other and live happily ever after. Oh, and in case you don’t know and are too lazy to look it up, agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder characterized by anxiety in situations where it is perceived to be difficult or embarrassing to escape. I can already picture the embarrassing situations they’re going to flashback to with Jason Sudeikis going through bad situations.
Brie Larson (‘United States of Tara’) and Fred Armisen (‘Saturday Night Live’) will be joining Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde in the film. Larson will play Wilde’s sister while Armisen will play Sudeikis’s best friend. Christopher Storer will make his directorial debut on the film. The basic plot actually sounds better than most romantic comedies, so here’s hoping Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde can keep their relationship going long enough to be able to get this film into theaters.
