I just love how comic book films have little crossover cameos here and there that are so fun to spot while watching the movie, its nice to see everyone in Hollywood working together to create a whole universe. The latest in cameos will be Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. We already knew he was going to be cast in the Joss Whedon version of THE AVENGERS, but we’re going to see him before that in next summer’s THOR. It was a denied rumor just a month ago, but an unknown source who got an early screening did confirm that Renner did have a small cameo, but he wouldn’t tell where (sneaky, yes). This source also confirmed that Nick Fury (as played by Samuel L. Jackson) will not be making an appearance in the summer film.
THOR stars Chis Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Jaimie Alexander, Ray Stevenson, Idris Elba, Colm Feore, Clark Gregg and Kat Dennings. THOR hits theaters everywhere on May 6th, 2011.
