Abigail Breslin and Julianne Moore team up for Innocence

Just when I though Hollywood was over saturated and almost done with vampire films, a couple more pop up on the list to get made.  Yesterday is was that TWILIGHT: ECLIPSE director David Slade was going to start working on THE LAST VOYAGE OF THE DEMETER and today it’s that Julianne Moore and Abigail Breslin are probably going to be teaming up (neither is completely confirmed) for a the thriller INNOCENCE. The story follows a young girl named Beckett (Breslin) who is attending a boarding school that happens to be home to a nest of vampires. Meanwhile, the school nurse (Moore) is planning on marrying Beckett’s father and forcing her way into the family. The film is an adaptation of the novel by Jane Mendelsohn and will be directed by Hilary Brougher. No set schedule for shooting but this film should be released sometime in 2012.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m a little done with vampires. Yeah, we have a few more original stories coming out but it’s really starting to get old. What do you guys think? Do we need a break from the vamps for awhile?
