Clark Gregg, best known from comedy The New Adventures of Old Christine, will be appearing in the upcoming superhero films IRON MAN 2 and THOR as Agent Coulson. Marvel is wanting to have certain characters and actors recognizable as they cross over into multiple films. Gregg was most recently seen in the films 500 DAYS OF SUMMER and CHOKE.
I think the whole actor crossover thing is a brilliant idea as that is one of my biggest pet peeves- when the actors change but the characters remain the same.
