Fox Home Entertainment has announced that the summer kids film JUDY MOODY AND THE NOT BUMMER SUMMER, starring Jordana Beatty, Heather Graham, Preston Bailey and Jaleel White, will be available on Blu-ray in a 3-disc Blu-ray Triple Play edition that includes a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy on October 11, 2011.. The film follows third grader Judy Moody (Beatty) who sets out to have the most adventurous summer of her life while under the care of her Aunt Opal (Graham).
JUDY MOODY AND THE NOT SO BUMMER SUMMER failed by all accounts at the box office, only bringing in just under $15 million total which, considering how poorly it was marketed, isn’t bad. I have a feeling that this may be one of those safe films for parents to pick up in the bargain bin to have on hand for the kids when they get restless this winter.
