I know you might find this hard to believe, but it looks like Cameron Diaz has chosen another formulaic, run-of-the-mill romantic comedy. I know, I know, it sounds out of character for the actress that has starred in such classics as WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS or THE HOLIDAY. Next on her list is the film AN EX TO GRIND, which is based off the book by Jane Heller. In it, Diaz will play a waitress that enjoys the lifestyle her superstar athlete husband provides her, but when an injury cuts his career short, she finds herself resenting his sloth-like ways. But things get really testy when they get a divorce and she has to support him with the business she had created. But things get even zanier when she tries to find someone to marry him and when she does, that woman turns him around and then she decides she wants him back.
Benicio Del Toro will be playing the husband/athlete and no other cast members have been announced.
