I continue to be impressed by the quality projects Summit Entertainment has been putting together. The latest film revolves around a prison security designer that builds the perfect prison, only to be framed and incarcerated in the prison he built. So he must find a way to escape and clear his name. If Summit Entertainment gets their way, Bruce Willis will star in the film and Antoine Fuqua will be directing.
SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION aside, there aren’t a whole lot of decent prison movies, but this one sounds like it could be fun. It kind of has that DIE HARD in prison feel to it, and Bruce Willis could have some fun with it. I’d be interested to see if Fuqua keeps with his darker style or lets up a little bit and makes it fun.
