Paul Reubens, Wolfgang Puck and Jeff Foxworthy join The Smurfs

THE SMURFS is racking up the voice talents.  Although I’m severely disappointed that the earlier reports of Quentin Tarantino voicing Brainy Smurf were false, the film has signed on some other talented voices.  We already knew that Katy Perry, Hank Azaria, George Lopez and Alan Cumming already had their assigned Smurfs, but now we learn that John Oliver (The Daily Show), Kenan Thompson (SNL), Fred Armisen (SNL), B.J. Novak (The Office), Anton Yelchin (STAR TREK), Paul Reubens, Jeff Foxworthy and Wolfgang Puck are all getting Smurfs as well.

On the live action front, Neil Patrick Harris, Sofia Vergara, Hank Azaria and Jayma Mays will be starring in the film from director Raja Gosnell.  No word yet on what the plot is, but they at least have a decent cast to work with.
