I just finished the second season of HBO’s True Blood and although it got a little outlandish towards the end of the season, True Blood is still a great show. So I’m not surprised that most of the people involved with the show are getting work in movies. We just learned that Grant Bowler was going to be starring in THE KILLER ELITE and now we learn that Vampire Bill himself, Stephen Moyer, will be starring in THE DOUBLE. He will be playing a Russian spy that murders a senator while Topher Grace and Richard Gere will play the CIA agents that try to track him down. Michael Brandt will be directing.
But that’s not all for Moyer, as he has also signed on to star as the family lawyer, Jarrod Barkley in the big screen revival of THE BIG VALLEY. Jessica Lange will be playing the role that Barbara Stanwyck made famous. So it looks like Vampire Bill will be busy for a little while.
