Kiefer Sutherland is looking to join the film GROWL from director Sxv’Leithan Essex and join the cast that includes ‘Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff, Josh Kelly and Paul Bean. The film has a great premise and combines part FIGHT CLUB and part FROM DUSK TIL DAWN, but maybe not with vampires. It’s about a traveling underground fight club called The Brawlers that end up in a small Colorado town. The agree to let the Maxilla family buy their way in, but once they’re there, it turns out to be a fight for survival.
I loved Katee Sackhoff in Battlestar and I like throwing Kiefer Sutherland into the mix for some legitimacy. The idea of a bunch of underground fighters being locked in a room/basement/whatever with a bunch of werewolves sounds fascinating.
