The Gary Ross directed film THE HUNGER GAMES is getting all kinds of love today, first with the addition of Elizabeth Banks and now Leven Rambin. Leven Rambin, who is most known for her television work which spans from ‘All My Children’ to small roles in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’, is the latest to join the cast of the upcoming novel adaptation from author Suzanne Collins. Rambin will take on the role of Glimmer, a member from District 1 that dukes it out with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) gladiator style. Filming should be starting very soon so keep your eyes peeled for continued casting news.
I feel like two stories in one day about this film means that this book must be read stat. I know it’s probably nothing like the old film THE RUNNING MAN with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but if the story resembles that at all it will make me extremely happy.
