Paul Thomas Anderson will be directing Philip Seymour Hoffman in the upcoming film MASTER. The film revolves around Hoffman’s character as he starts a new religion and takes on the role as the leader during the 1950’s. Anderson wants to explore the human need for belief and faith as well as how that faith turns into a full fledged religion. Neither Hoffman or Anderson have not commented much on the film.
Anderson and Hoffman are a great team and always put out thought-provoking films. I think Hoffman is an excellent choice for this role and I’m waiting in anticipation to see who the supporting cast will be.
