Diane Keaton and Ed Harris will pair up for an adaptation of the Arie Posen novel “The Look of Love”. The story surrounds a woman (Keaton) who several years after the loss of her husband runs into a man (Harris) that looks very similar to him. The similarities sum up some deep feelings that had long been forgotten as the woman learns to love again. The screenplay is being adapted by Matthew McDuffie and Arie Posin. No word on when production will get started, but THE LOOK OF LOVE has been acquired by Exclusive Media Group.
I think this sounds like a decent love story. I like Diane Keaton and I like Ed Harris, so it shouldn’t be too bad. I just hope it’s not another one of those films that gets lost in the mix of all the big studio romantic comedies, however, that’s sort of what it sounds like. Hopefully, I’m wrong.
