Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder in The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Second Season coming to Blu-ray

Warner Home Entertainment has announced that THE VAMPIRE DIARIES: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON will be released on Blu-ray August 30, 2011. This successful television show featured on the CW follows a girl named Elena Gilbert (played by Nina Dobrev) who is torn between two vampire brothers named Stefan and Damon Salvatore (portrayed by Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder of Lost fame) who are posing as local high school students.

I’ve not seen this show personally, but I have heard that it is pretty popular with the vampire loving crowd, especially those under the age of 21. I suppose it may be a good substitution to TWILIGHT in between films.
