Tom Hanks and Tim Allen to re-team for Disney's Jungle Cruise?

Since Tom Hanks and Tim Allen have made serious money for Disney via all the TOY STORY films, I suppose it’s no surprise that the studio would try to get them together for another project. Disney is “making moves” to get the two back together for the live action film JUNGLE CRUISE which will be based on the theme park ride. Now we know that Disney is bent on making their rides into feature films since the success of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, but I’m not too sure how well this would work for JUNGLE CRUISE. However, they do have a screenwriter in Roger S.H. Schulman who is hard at work to make this, well work. No director has been mentioned and neither Hanks or Allen are set for the film. Stay tuned.

I think this is a little absurd, but it is a genius plan to bring in these two again, especially since so many families are crazy familiar with the TOY STORY films. I don’t know how many of my friends tell me their kids watch TOY STORY over and over again all day, but that doesn’t mean a film should be made about the JUNGLE CRUISE. Am I the only one who thinks this is crazy?
