Anchor Bay Entertainment has announced that their latest creature feature DINOSHARK, starring Eric Balfour, Roger Corman and Iva Hasperger, will be available on Blu-ray April 26th, 2011. This Syfy Channel original follows what I’m assuming is a prehistoric combo between dinosaur and shark (which totally makes sense since sharks are one of the oldest species, it could totally happen). The film features Roger Corman (who is a bit of a legend in the creature feature circuit) as “the world’s only expert on the Dinoshark”.
Needless to say, I’m looking forward to this little B-movie gem. Why? Because I love creature features, a lot. I will be getting it along with SHARKTOPUS to add to my ever expanding “monster collection” that already includes awesomeness in the form of MEGA SHARK VS. GIANT OCTOPUS, ANACONDA and DEEP BLUE SEA. I see a creature feature movie marathon coming at the end of April.
Only special feature included is a full-length commentary track with producers Roger and Julie Corman.
