Zach Galifianakis is in talks to join Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek in the SHREK spin-off PUSS IN BOOTS. The movie is to be a prequel to SHREK where we follow Puss in Boots in his adventures before he meets up with the green ogre and his gang. If he signs on, Zach Galifianakis will voice the character Humpty Dumpty.
Puss in Boots was by far and away my favorite character in the SHREK films so this film has a lot of potential. All we can hope for is that they won’t write in a Donkey-like character for cheap laughs and puns.
