Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that the alien invasion film SKYLINE, which was directed by the Strause Brothers and stars Donald Faison, Eric Balfour and Scottie Thompson, will be available on Blu-ray March 15th, 2011. The film follows an alien invasion that takes place in Los Angeles where the extraterrestrial beings will stop at nothing until they wipe out the entire human race. This film received a lot of positive reviews and felt very similar to 2008’s film CLOVERFIELD where you follow two buddies as they try to escape the inevitable.
Sci-fi is one of my genres of choice and this is one of those films that I’m anticipating and will be picking up in March. Plus, it stars Donal Faison who starred in the series SCRUBS, which I love and makes me obligated to watch any film that includes alumni. Just my way of thinking.
