Universal Studios Home Entertainment had announced that the summer documentary BABIES was due to be released on Blu-ray September 28, 2010. However, it has been reported that the Blu-ray is now available as an exclusive offer from Target and can be purchased either at the stores or online. The film follows four babies from around the world and documents their first breath to their first steps. I’m completely baffled by the concept of this film and don’t understand why anyone would be interested in watching something like this, however, it did gross over $7 million so I guess there is an audience somewhere out there.
