Todd Phillips is still holding on whether or not he’s going to bring THE HANGOVER franchise to an end with a third film. The director says that he’s open to taking ideas on the third film from the previous cast and those involved.
But according to Bradley Cooper, the third installment is currently being worked on, “I hope we’ll start shooting next September. I know (director) Todd Phillips is working on the script. We stuck to the formula in the second one but the third would need to close the trilogy. I think it’ll take place in L.A. and not adhere to the structure.”
It’s probably better off that it does not adhere to the structure. The sequel was basically the first one set in Thailand. I really hope that they come through on the third and final film if they actually are going to do it.
