Oscar winner Trent Reznor may score Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

One of the things I thought the Academy got right this year was giving the Oscar for best score to Trent Reznor (yes, that guy from Nine Inch Nails), the music for THE SOCIAL NETWORK is really what helped pace the film and give it that extra cool vibe. So I’m happy that Reznor may score the upcoming Seth Grahame-Smith adaptation of ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER. I’d love to see his take on vampires with a presidential spin. There’s also a possibility that he may star in the film as well, he would play the vampire that kills Abe’s mom and sets his path for the rest of the film.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER will be directed by Timur Bekmambetov and stars Benjamin Walker as Honest Abe, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anthony Mackie and Dominic Cooper. It’s set to hit theaters on June 22, 2012 and will be presented in 3D.
