Bill Paxton is in the early stages of bringing a 3D sequel of TWISTER to the big screen. The next film will be a little darker than the first and will explore more of the lore and legends of tornadoes and expand on that aspect more than the original movie did. Although there is still no script or studio attached the idea is circulating around Hollywood. Bill Paxton can currently be seen in the HBO series Big Love.
TWISTER is one of my all time favorite guilty pleasure movies so I’m really excited about the prospect of a 3D sequel. I don’t care how cheesy the plot or how gimmicky the 3D experience-I’m there.
