The ten funniest movie bank robberies

3. BANDITS – Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton play two convicts who are on a bank robbing spree.  The 2001 comedy was fair but earns one of the better laughs when an unexpected wrench is thrown in the harmless pairs bank robbery plans.  An old lady in charge of the bank vault stumps the two by simply telling them, “No. I’m not opening the vault. Good manners are no excuse for criminal behavior.”

Woody Allen in Take The Money And Run

2. TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN – Oh Woody Allen.  The hapless guy can’t catch a break as he tries to hold up a bank with a poorly written note.  Unfortunately, the teller, the bank manager and every other person can’t make out what exactly he’s trying to say. “I have a Gub in my pocket? What’s a Gub?”

Quick Change

1. QUICK CHANGE – Bill Murray dressed as a clown pulling off an elaborate bank heist.  Need I say more?  Teamed up with Geena Davis and Randy Quaid, this Bill Murray directed comedy is quite clever.  The plan goes off without a hitch, it’s the getaway that comes with all the hangups.  If you haven’t seen this underrated gem, Netflix it immediately.
