Ten movie heroes I want helping me fight the zombie apocalypse

Zombies are the new vampires and since some people think that a zombie apocalypse could actually happen, I started thinking about who I would want with me to fight off the impending zombie invasion. Obviously, my first choice was Brad Pitt. And since his new movie, WORLD WAR Z opens this weekend, it seems like we’ll get to find out if he was a good choice. But I started thinking about other movie heroes I’d want on my side and maybe I got a little too strategic with it. The list was tricky, because I would need more than just fighting ability and I would want a variety of skill sets. I also decided for the purpose of this list, I’d ignore superheroes, video game characters and androids. Otherwise, this would turn into a list of superheroes with the Terminator thrown on there for good measure.
10. Basher – OCEAN’S 11 – I don’t understand why all zombie movies and TV shows feature people killing zombies with handguns. In my war on the zombies, there’s going to be a lot of explosions and mass killings, so I’m going to need someone that knows his stuff. Basher is good enough for George Clooney, so he’s good enough for me.
9. Frank Martin – TRANSPORTER – We’re all tough and ready for battle, but there’s always going to be times where we’ll need to get out of a bad situation quickly. Martin can make Audi’s fly, so I’m sure he’ll be able to handle whatever getaway vehicle we choose.
8. Lisbeth Salander – THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO – I can’t think of a tougher hacker in movies than Lisbeth. She’s had a rough go of it, of course, but she’s tough as nails and can work under pressure. She’d be my go-to hacker for all the computer related issues that are sure to arise after the dead have…errr…arisen. Close runner-up: David – WARGAMES
