Thandie Newton joins Tyler Perry in Good Deeds

Thandie Newton is set to join Tyler Perry in the upcoming film GOOD DEEDS. The movie seems to fall into the romantic comedy (or drama) genre and follows a successful entrepreneur Glen Deeds (see how it all fits in!) who is getting ready to marry a woman until he meets a single mom (Newton). Feelings start to stir inside him that he didn’t know he could ever have and craziness ensues. Well, that could be extreme, but it sounds better than what it may end up being. Production is set to begin later this month so keep an eye out for more casting news.

I really like Thandie Newton (ever since MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE II) and I find that she’s a pretty decent actress that seems to have gone on a streak of picking not so great roles. Maybe this will help turn her career around, or maybe she just needs to try and team up with Tom Cruise again.
